Back in May I shared tiles that were done at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health's Tangle Weekend, With Molly Holibaugh and Martha Huggins. The title of the weekend was "The Tangled Journal" to that end efveryone was given a journal. We started to work on the cover that weekend, however, as the covers are large, and there is both the front and the back to tangle, it has taken me a couple of months to finish it. The front contains my initial,in the style of one of the embedded letters taught by Maria Thomas that weekend. in addition there are some tangles from recent videos for the project pack 3. ( a project I am still working on) Other tangles include diva dance rock 'n roll, flux, florz with well inside, carpetr daisy, toodles, printemps, n'zepple, bales and holibaugh. The back also was done with a double string to allow a fill with a number of rounded tangles including huggins, filled with shattuck and tipple, jacy, flux. hollibaugh, knightsbridge and bales.

I have been tangling since 2015. I found out about Zentangle from a colleague who had taken a class. Unfortunately, the person with whom they took the class, lived a considerable distance from me. Searching the Zentangle Website I found a Certified Zentangle Teacher much closer to me. After classes with her, for the best part of a year. She showed me that this was an art form I could feel comfortable with and find the creativity that I didn't think was there. The rest they say is history. In April 2017, I traveled to Providence RI to attend the training to become a certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). I am privileged to be CZT 26.
